Big problems with 1.25

Postby rogerkaplan » Tue Sep 01, 2009 12:10 pm

Verizon Palm 650
iLuv i913 headset
PocketTunes 3

First, headset connection usually does not work first time. The connection seems to be made but the screens fly by quickly. When I try to play music, it doesn't play - the counter doesn't move. I then disconnect headset, and get an error box w/ no error message. I then try to reconnect and sometimes it works, sometimes it freezes, requiring a reboot. After the reboot it usually connects successfully.

On disconnect... I disconnect the headset then shut it off, then turn off the Palm. About 75% of the time, the next time I try to turn the Palm on, it's frozen requiring a reboot. I've tried with "resource protection" on and off. When On, it gives me a message that I must reboot. Not useful.

I think I was last on version 1.19, which worked acceptably. Where can I find that download?

I can suggest you to reinstall Audio Gateway according to the Installation manual .
Try to switch Audio Gateway to "Internal" mode after listening to music. Turn off the bluetooth (and the headset) only after the switching.
Hope this will help.

Look up for 1.19 link in your PM.

Thanks
I did try to reinstall 1.25 several times, including removing all other bluetooth profiles. No luck, behavior was the same.

I installed 1.19 and it seems to be working fine. There were a few quirks but they were manageable.

Thanks!

BTW, pTunes 3.1.8

Sounds like what I'm getting, right down to the error box with no error message in it. Perhaps I will revert to 1.19 or some other suggested version.
